Wolf Pack Elects New Leadership Positions


Stewart Cooper named President and CEO; Robert Messer to take on the role of Secretary as well as CFO.


FULSHEAR, Texas, January 16, 2019 – Wolf Pack Rentals is pleased to announce the election of two key leadership positions. Stewart Cooper, who previously served as COO for the company is now acting president and CEO, while Robert Messer will now take on duties as Secretary in addition to his role as CFO. Both Cooper and Messer have vast experience not only within the company but in the broader oil and gas industry as well.


An engineer by trade, Cooper joined Wolf Pack in 2015 and as COO lead the management of the company’s most profitable shale plays in the market. Before Wolf Pack, Cooper worked in the racing world for more than a decade, serving as Director of Racing Operations and General Manager for Turner Motorsports from 2010 to 2014.


Messer will maintain his role as CFO for Wolf Pack, which he has held since 2005, while also acting as Secretary. Before joining the company, Messer worked for FCA Corp. as Vice President, COO and Compliance Officer during which time he also had the responsibility of managing the Real Estate division for FCA.

Steve Turner formed Wolf Pack Rentals in 2005. The Company was formed to address the demand of well-site accommodations in the Hallettsville, Texas area. The initial plan was to operate a sufficient amount of equipment to service two or three rigs. The company continued to grow beyond his expectations.  In 2009 Turner made the decision to merge Wolf Pack Rentals along with all of his other companies (Xxtreme Pipe Services, Xxtreme Pipe Storage and Xxtreme Tubular Processors that were later sold) to form Wolf Pack Energy Services, another oilfield service company controlled by Turner. Wolf Pack Rentals has grown from two employees to over one hundred and seventy-five employees. It provides rental equipment and services in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The corporate headquarters is located in Fulshear, Texas.
