Robert Messer (“Messer”) has been with Wolf PackEnergy Services (“Wolf Pack”) since 2005. During his tenure with the company,Messer proved to be a valuable asset to the management team. His experience and knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry added depth within the organization.
“Over the past six years Robert has been a great mentor for me while navigating through the ups and downs of the Oil & Gas Industry. We made a great team; and during this time, he taught me plenty about both business and the industry. Our relationship goes beyond Wolf Pack. I wishRobert the best in his retirement”, says Stewart Cooper.
Messer plans to retire and spend time with his family as well as continue to bike, golf and travel.
Wolf Pack is delighted to announce his successor, Michael Ligon (“Ligon”).
Ligon is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas. He earned his BBA and MBA at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Tx. Ligon’s Finance and Accounting career spans 30+ years, with 20 of those being in theOilfield Services. Most notably he served multiple roles at Schlumberger over 10 years, and most recently was Director/Sr. Controller for 5 years atC&J Energy Services/NexTier Completions Solutions. He brings External and Internal Financial Reporting, Operational and Management Accounting, and team management experience to Wolf Pack. He’s been married for 32 years and has7 children and 2 grandchildren.
